FWIW, you will find almost no love for the 60e on this board.|

Some of the mods done to the 383 were Comp cam 480/490 lift roller w/roller rockers, reworked heads JBA shorty cermanic headers,Delphi FJ10566 MPFI conversion, Delphi MAF sensor Walbro 255 in tank fuel pump w/ in line pressure regulator, and misc ...||It sets the camshaft positioning sensor to the new computer. |I need to do some research on the HP Tuners. Are there any gains for stock engines? Black X, this is a completely stock engine from the bone yard, donor is a 2002 Avalanche with a 5.3L. I wanted to cam it but I figured I would just get it on the road and dependable before I start mucking around with other things.||So if there's too much air and not enough gasoline for the combustion process, the explosions will become weaker and your engine will have to work harder to turn the crankshaft. So if you notice that your car is responding more sluggishly every time you press down on the accelerator, a leak in the intake manifold could be the culprit.|

Yet another is the fact that your egr valves (if equipped) is right in the front (i think) opposed to the 4.7. It is crammed up against the firewall between the VC and intake manifold.
